Project 11

Project 10- I had alot of fun with this project

project 8

This was my original idea created from half circles

Wasn't able to upload project eight because i couldn't see the video with my browser but it worked on google chrome so here it is . I just decided to do some different styles from which the professor had showed us and then i assorted them together to create a design. I played with the color and the filters couldn't make up my mind how I wanted it to look because their so many different things to try its crazy so this one i just decided to change the colors.

Project 11

Here are a couple of my Letter designs, and I invite all of you to view my other designs on my fotothing website. Thanks!

Project 9

I really liked this assignment, epecially because I figured out had to add color to certain parts of the design! It's really neat to develop such unique designs from just a simple cropping job.
Here are a couple of my designs, and other similiar designs cab be viewed on my fotothing website.

Project 8

Hello All,

I enjoyed making new shapes from a simple circle design! But...I actually struggled with this assignment because I was not able to add color to the individual shapes on the canvas. I tried a few different things, but maybe I was not doing the process correctly. Well, with that being said, here are a couple of my designs, and i invite all of you to view some of my other work on my fotothing website.

Thanks!

Project #10

For this project I found it really interesting how just by adding different gray scales to different objects you can achieve a 3-D look.

poject 9

This was my Letter E in Edwardian scrip I took the Mid right corner of it. i actually really enjoyed this project. I agree with what the professor said about the gate you can come up with designs from a simple letter that you couldn't even picture in you head to draw. I guess this is how they come up with those glass desinges you could find at a church on the windows pretty cool.

Project #9

For project #9 I wasn't too sure if I was rotating the parts of the letters in the correct way. The top image with the C is pretty simple as I was trying to get the hang of the project.  As I moved forward with it an kept playing with it I liked what I got. With the second image, I like the juxtaposition of the curves with the angles, especially as seen in the center 4 squares of the 16 grid.

Project #8

I liked playing with the combinations of quadrants of circles and putting multiples in the same square (like in my top image here) I thought it was interesting how if the right one was used and mirrored in a certain way you would end up getting a circle where the tiles meet.  The images that I created for this project very much reminded me of tiles seen in Mexican or Mediterranean design, which influenced the colors I chose in my bottom image.

project 7

After i submitted project seven I found an image i wanted to play with and So i decided to upload it because i liked its results very much. To me it kind of reminded me heven or hell.

Four Pieces-Assignment #9

Here are some of my results for project #9, Four Pieces. I had a lot of fun with this, just wish it was easier to play coloring book at the end than it is. Hope you enjoy them! Guess which one reminded me of a Native American pattern and which one reminded me of doughnuts?

Project Seven

This project was neat, but I had a hard time thinking of objects (other than trees) that would look neat with a mirrored effect. However, here are a couple of my designs, and hope that you all check out some of the others on my website.
(the picture below is og a tree. I like how the roots connect again, and this image reminded me of the "tree of life". )
I cropped out part of a butterfly wing, and came up with the pattern below:

Project 7

i liked the water fall so i tried it diffrent ways

I love this one because it gives the impresion of falling to me.
I enjoyed this project very much I thought it was cool to use color in it I thought i wasnt able to because i only have the trial for photo shop but turns out if you save the image and open it instead of copying it and pasting you are allowed to keep the color.

Project 6

here i tried to do a fifty fifty so you cant tell what theirs more off, but i think the letters make it seem like white is negative

I just wanted to invert it .

this one is more positive then negative

and this one i decided to use letters to make it more easier for negative to appear dominant.
This exercise was  neat because everyone tends to see negative first or positive first but i did have a little trouble time creating something that was fifty fifty.
